It is an honour to finally get an opportunity to write a newsletter for you. I cannot express how excited I am to begin this journey. Along with our team here at SundayPyjamas, we have committed to producing a newsletter for you to get new perspectives on technology, culture, and products we all love and sometimes, love to hate. I welcome you to join us.
Firstly, I’d like to begin by sharing a little about why we have started this newsletter. Secondly, we’ll try and dive a little deeper into what will be covered in the newsletter during the coming weeks and months. Thirdly, I would like to share an update on our podcast, which will also be a part of our newsletter. And lastly, I would like to urge you to share your ideas about how we can make this experience worthwhile for you to keep coming back.
Well, we are getting ahead of ourselves…
First things first. Why did we, the SundayPyjamas team, feel the need to do a newsletter? The primary focus of this Newsletter is to ask questions that help our readers think better about the world. We aim to deliver ideas and insights to your inbox that helps you form a unique perspective on the changing technology landscape. We believe a newsletter will help us explore ideas and enable storytelling while conversing directly with you as well as our community. The Newsletter helps you, the reader, engage with us directly and also enables us to share with you in a much more personal and direct way.
With that said, let’s dive deeper into all the areas we’ll be covering through this Newsletter. We will be researching and producing articles on upcoming digital products, deep technology (trends like 5G), insights on the venture capital space, breakdown product strategies for companies innovating to build the future of the world, electric cars, self-driving & battery technology, practical insights on venture building and much much more. While these are the initial ideas we are working on, I am confident there will be a lot more ideas to explore as we move forward.
The idea to do a newsletter came from our community of listeners as well as guests on our Research Labs Podcast. We started the podcast in 2020 to uncover ideas that are trapped in geographic silos globally. We reached out to intellectuals globally, hopeful that individuals would reciprocate with our goal. Thankfully they did and here we are with 36 published episodes and 20 more in production (to be published soon). So far we have had conversations revolving around climate change, chaos engineering big data with a cultural perspective, product design in LinkedIn, building a YC company, raising funds for startups, and much more.
That’s all for today. I hope to hear from you soon. I hereby encourage you to share your thoughts on what you would like us to research and write in this newsletter. You can even send us questions that you would like us to ask our future guests on the podcast. We are all ears.
Thank you for your time.
